I have a marble-patterned, slightly rubbery-feeling version of the Make-up bag, without a handle. What I personally do like, is that it lays flat on a surface and I can see into the bag and can riffle through it easily. My bag is a mess anyway so to me it doesn’t matter if stuff moves. As it closed upwards things are tight and don’t move once you close it.

Got a minimalist wallet that is perfect for me, it has space for about 6 cards i only need space for 3 and a solid plastic side area for my drivers licence, simple push and the cards pop up. Also has a clasp for money , well not over 5 or so notes as it is rather stiff to pull the band which is good as it holds the note in place, metal frame makes it sturdy and is the first wallet i have had that has been partially made from metal, i love it and believe it is the perfect size, only a few mm bigger than a credit card. I paid £4.99 with one day delivery so it was a test really to see if i could get used to a minimalist wallet, most of which have space for 12 card, as a minimalist wallet i could do with it only having space for 4 cars max and one or two of those cardholders to be windows one on each side, not the cheap thin plastic paper but solid plexiglass. I am sure someone will come out with something like that as a real minimalist wallet, just to find it.

Can it be worn as a waist bag ?

Have you used any of these items on a travel?

The tray table cover looks interesting for low-cost airlines e.g. RyanAir, which don't have any seat pockets at all. I do wonder if cabin crew would ask pax to take it away in take off and landing, as theoretically can hinder emergency evac, or items stored in it can fly around the cabin? A small tote/sling tied around the close tray table can serve the same; But it looks like an elegant solution.

Aliexpress is far better. Plus you'll find plenty of OEM versions or pure authentic products straight from the Chinese factories.

i definitely need the iron review to know if there's a chance to damage hotel surfaces that you choose to iron on and if that's actually convenient (vs. just borrowing an ironing board + iron from the hotel)!

I have one of the pill organizer, I purchased small stickers for the type of pills. Tylenol, flu & cold meds ( Day & Nights ) aspirin and so on . I find it great when traveling with my family as you don't have to bring a ton of different pill bottles

Trtl pillows are very useful spending multiple days in a hospital with someone else....

woo we get both of you! i hope i don't get spammed by tiktik videos on here now tho lol would love to see you test the iron! the tray cover is a Pass! i don't wanna carry the germs with me and need to wash it lol the plug looks great but i need more usb or sockets. and about the hotel cover, if you brang your own then you'd have to take off all the sheets and get all close with the duvet inside... i've been to many hotels that i can see right away havent been changed so if i had room perhaps id take this , or atleast just a cover for the pillow. enjoyed the laid back vibe of this video

5:35 I travel for work a lot and stay long stretches in different hotel rooms. I have the lay-flat toiletry bag and love it, but because I don’t use it as a toiletry bag but rather as a separate, home-away-from-home nightstand container. It contains travel sized duplicates of everything I keep in my nightstand at home (phone charger and cables, nail file, tissues, throat lozenges, ear plugs, etc). Whenever I get to a new hotel room all I have to do is lay this flat on the nightstand, hang up my toiletries in the bathroom and, boom, I feel “moved in”.

I travel with my chemo and my side effects meds in a tablet case - no issues travelling to many places in europe, Japan, USA and Canada from the UK.

Instead of an iron I use a wrinkle release spray

Yep Different countries have different laws on medication. Specifically pain medication and mental health medications

0:28 Nice to have... but I would want dual use out of it. For those who pack a microfiber travel towel (or similar) - why not add a few velcro patches strategically so it could fold into an airplane tray table holder - and unvelcro back into a towel for the rest of the trip?

The pill box is too small for me. I mix all my prescriptions (they are all very different shapes) in one snap box and never have been asked about them. 30 years of a lot of travel. I know they could, but so far no.

Fun format shifts in this one! I've got those pill cases and, as pill cases, I don't particularly love them. The curved sides mean you can't really fit that many tablets in each section if they're larger than, say, an Advil. I take a couple pills in the morning and a couple in the evening, and this case won't hold that for a week-long trip. I'd rather just get a lower-profile traditional pill case for traveling if I'm going to use it for meds.

I’d be interested in the iron reviewed officially. I do a LOT of business travel and need my suit to look good. The iron that hotel’s have, more often than not, are rusty/gunky/etc. The number of times I’ve heated up an iron only to have it smell like mold being cooked is stupid. I never trust the hotel iron. The concept of hanging your shirt in the shower sounds find but it really doesn’t get creases out reliably.

I just can’t justify bringing things JUST for the flight. It’s a few hours. When you break down the time of actual usage over an entire trip creature comforts for the flight just aren’t worth the money, space, and energy lugging around while on vacation.

I brought a sheet to protect myself from bed bugs in Indonesia. Really small and also covered a pillow. I can confirm that it worked because we slept at someones' house and slept on a rug. The next morning everyone had little red spots on them except me! I know it was an extreme case but I think that even in hotels it can be interesting to bring since it's so light.

Lol. I have the airplane tray table cover and used it last week on a trip. Love it. I don’t travel with a laptop, but it held my water bottle and all my accessories great in the pockets. I got some double looks when I used it. 😂 It elevates everything so you don’t have to reach as low as normal with the regular seat back pocket that is obviously disgusting with all kinds of stuff going in.
